Bagger-Werx™ Complete 1¼" Apehanger Handlebar Kits For Touring Models

Save yourself time and money with these 1¼"-diameter handlebars, hand controls, switches and grips already pre-assembled and ready to install. The handlebars are beautifully chrome-plated or black powdercoated. The chrome kits have chrome switches and housings with chrome ribbed grips, while the black kits have black switches and housings with black rubber ‘vintage-style’ grips.
• Complete kits are a direct bolt-on for 1997 thru 2012 models (they DO NOT fit models with heated grips or CVO models). See below for the Special Installation Note.
• Features radio and cruise control switches. Note: Models with radio only or cruise only have the option to use the supplied block off switch plugs if desired or leave the extra switches for future use
• Each kit includes a handlebar, 2008-up brake and clutch side hand controls with housings and switches, grip sets for cable-operated throttles and Throttle-By-Wire electronic throttles, early and late-style connector pins with a wiring diagram and 20"-long extension kit for Throttle-By-Wire controls
• Each kit has a clutch starting safety switch installed for 2007-up models that is not used on 1997–2006 motorcycles (refer to the wiring diagram included in the kits)
• Kits have 11/16"-bore master cylinders for dual discs
• The 1¼"-diameter handlebars are made out of heavy-duty .120"-thick wall tubing swaged down to 1" for the controls, and stepped down to 1" in the center to work with most risers

Dresser Ape Handlebar And Control Kits

Dresser Apes have standard switches with radio and cruise buttons for Harley Electra Glide models from 1997 thru 2012 and Street Glide models from 2006 thru 2012 equipped with radio and cruise controls. They fit all models with Electra Glide-style Bat Wing fairing including Trikes

Wide Ape Handlebar And Control Kits

Wide Apes have standard switches with radio and cruise buttons for Harley Road King models from 2005 thru 2012 and Road Glide models from 2006 thru 2012 equipped with radio and cruise controls. They fit all Touring models with frame-mounted fairings

Special Installation Note: Touring models from 1997 thru 2007 will need to convert their handlebar top clamp from the stock two-piece clamp to a one-piece version as fitted to 2008-up models. The one-piece clamp is available from Harley-Davidson as OEM #55918-08, and we offer a billet Yankee Engineuity top clamp as Paughco #YE-B-27

1¼" Apehangers For 2008-Up Touring Models With Electonic ‘Throttle-By-Wire’

Great looking handlebars made from 1¼" tubing swaged down to 1" for a smooth, clean look. They’re specially machined for the electronic ‘Throttle-By-Wire’ controls used on Harley’s 2008-up Touring models. They bolt easily into the stock handlebar clamp on all 5- or 6-speed Touring models and Trikes with fork-mounted Bat Wing fairings, but require 6"-over stock length cables, brake lines and extended wiring harnesses. These handlebars measure 40" from end-to-end with a 15" rise and a 10" pullback.

1¼" ‘Apehangers’ For 1997-Up Touring Models With Cable-Operated Throttles

These great looking handlebars are made from 1¼" tubing and swaged down to 1" for a smooth, clean look. They’re dimpled for all late model controls and pre-drilled for internal wiring. The center section is a stock 1"-dia-meter to fit easily under the handlebar clamp cover. They fit all 1997–up 5- or 6-speed Touring models with cable-operated throttles and fork-mounted Bat Wing fairings. Touring models from 1997 thru 2007 will need to convert their handlebar top clamp from the stock two-piece clamp to a one-piece version as fitted to 2008-up H-D models. The one-piece clamp is available from Harley-Davidson as OEM #55918-08, and we offer a billet Yankee Engineuity top clamp as Paughco #YE-B-27. 1" ‘Straight Ape’ Handlebars

All-new straight and parallel rise apehanger handlebars from Paughco. The rise portion of these 1"-diameter handlebars is designed to follow the fork lines on straight up. Made from .095" wall tubing and chrome-plated to the usual high Paughco standard. Available undimpled for custom applications and dimpled for use with 1982-up handlebar controls. The 5½" center width works for all stock risers on 3½" centers.

1¼" ‘HT’ T-Bars

These stylish ‘H’-shaped bars are made from 1¼"-diameter tubing swaged down to 1". They feature unique integral .675" diameter hollow mounting studs that permit internal handlebar wiring to be routed down thru the bars and studs, and exit below the triple tree for a clean look. Each bar comes with a set of special large I.D. polymer handlebar bushings and washers. Available in 8" and 11" rises with a width of 31½" and a 7" pullback.

Styled after the ‘Hollywood’ Springer handlebars, but designed for use with conventional risers. These 1"-diameter bars measure 36" from end to end, with a 5" rise and a 7" pullback. Like their Springer counterparts, they don’t have any dimples for control wiring, but have exit holes instead.

1" ‘Speedster’ And ‘Hollywood’ Handlebars For Springers

These 1"-diameter handlebars are styled after those first seen on Knuckleheads, but updated for use with modern handlebar controls. They replace the top tree on all Paughco Springers or early OEM in-line Springers, and measure 36" from end to end, with a 5" rise and a 7" pullback. They do not have any dimples for control wiring, but instead, have wiring exit holes. The ‘Hollywood’ handlebars have an integral crossbar, while the ‘Speedster’ handlebars do not.
